Scuba diving wetsuits
Aqualung offers you a wide choice of quality wetsuits you can select from based on your upcoming diving conditions.
Aqualung wetsuits are the result of technical innovations that promote flexibility, comfort and exceptional waterproofness over time, all based on a sustainable development approach.
Eco-friendly wetsuit
An eco-friendly focus as we are aware that the textile industry is the second biggest source of pollution after the oil industry so Aqualung has made a point of creating a line of wetsuits that is as eco-friendly as possible by leaving out certain materials that are harmful to the environment, particularly oil-based products. Our engineering teams have developed multiple technologies to substitute these polluting materials such as a water-based glue called Aqua™ used on DynaFlex wetsuits. The DynaFlex and Dive or semi-waterproof Iceland and Solaflex wet diving suits use neoprene recycled from used tyres, and do not contain any polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum.
Aqualung also very closely monitors its water and electricity consumption and we have implemented biodegradable packaging made of corn starch for the DynaFlex series of Wetsuits.
Flexible, comfortable and durable wetsuits
A technological contribution to greater flexibility: we are working to make our clothing more and more flexible to ensure you have even greater freedom of movement when diving.
Flexible Wetsuits adapted for women and men
As well as the AquaFlexsuit, we have developed AquaFlex neoprene which is even more flexible for the semi-waterproof Solaflex and Iceland suits. The DynaFlex and Dive series feature Supratex reinforcements to increase the suit's knee flexibility, and the ergonomic sections under the armpits and inside the elbows and knees increase freedom of movement even more.
This Dynaflex series also features an outer material known as superspan™, a super-soft stretch fabric for incomparable flexibility.
The ergonomic cut of the Xscape wetsuit with its Supratex kneepads means it can be used for all kinds of water activities such as paddleboarding, surfing or wakesurfing.
Advanced details for an obvious increase in comfort.
At Aqualung, we produce our wetsuits based on multiple criteria to increase comfort. The first criterion is that our wet diving suits need to be easy to slip on and off. Systems with long fastenings like you see on the 7 mm Dynaflex make it easy to get the suit on and off. On the Iceland and Aquaflex suits, the inner lining is super soft and has been designed to easily don and remove the suit.
There is also a system with smooth rolled edges as featured on the Dive series suits. Secondly, we want to take full advantage of our wetsuits' super-flexibility to incorporate details that further increase the diver's freedom of movement. The anatomically curved sleeves and legs that you see on the SolaFlex decrease stress on your joints, and the elasticated collar on the AquaFlex or the V-neck on the Hydroflex series prevents your neck from feeling strangled.
Wetsuits adapted to your dive equipment
Last but not least, Aqualung's engineers and designers have ensured that the semi-waterproof and wetsuits are perfectly compatible with the rest of your diving equipment. The shoulder straps on your stab BCD and your dive computer are secured by several different systems depending on your diving suit model, such as embossed prints (Hydroflex), printed patterns with an adhesive coating (Wave Series, Iceland, Aquaflex, Solaflex, etc.) or rubber buckles.
